FT PLAY Safety & Conduct Policy

At FT PLAY, we're committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone can enjoy casual football. Whether you're a player or an organiser, we ask that you uphold the following standards to help foster a positive experience across the community.

Player Conduct

  • Respect First: Treat teammates, opponents, organisers, and venue staff with courtesy and fairness.
  • Play Fair: No aggressive behaviour, foul language, or unsporting conduct will be tolerated.
  • Punctuality Matters: Arrive on time and notify organisers if you can't attend. Repeated no-shows may affect your access to future games.
  • Health & Safety: If you're feeling unwell or injured, please refrain from playing. Prioritise your safety and that of others.

Organiser Responsibilities

  • Inclusive Leadership: Promote diversity, fairness, and fun. Ensure all players feel welcome regardless of background or ability.
  • Match Oversight: Maintain a safe playing environment — oversee game flow and respond promptly to incidents or misconduct.
  • Venue & Equipment Check: Ensure pitches are safe and equipment (e.g. balls, bibs) is fit for use.
  • Reporting Issues: Inform FT PLAY of any serious conduct issues at Support@ftplay.co.uk

Zero Tolerance Policy

FT PLAY reserves the right to investigate and suspend players or organisers involved in:

  • Discrimination or hate speech
  • Physical or verbal abuse
  • Dangerous or reckless behaviour
  • Repeated complaints or misconduct
